Speaking to reporters ahead of Manchester City's eventual 0-2 win over FC Porto on matchweek one of the UEFA Champions League's league phase format, Enzo Maresca was quizzed on music now being played during first-team training at the City Football Academy.
"It's something I had in Leicester, in Chelsea, and I introduced here," Maresca pointed out. "I think the players with music are more happy and can work better, it's just for that."

On whether he chooses the music himself, Maresca said, "Ah, no! The players decide" before telling Amazon Prime from the Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday night, "I like house music! Boom, boom, boom!"
Matheus Nunes, who was seated alongside Maresca during the pre-match press conference ahead of the clash with FC Porto, said of music being played during training, "I like it. Why not? All of them [types of music]. They want to be DJs."
