Alisson Becker has accepted an FA charge for misconduct and been fined by the FA following his behaviour after Liverpool's draw with Nottingham Forest

Alisson Becker has been fined for misconduct for his behaviour following Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest last month.
The Brazilian took grievance after he was adjudged to have conceded a penalty for a foul on former Reds team-mate Neco Williams, with Morgan Gibbs-White stepping up to convert the spot-kick to fire Forest ahead.
Andoni Iraola’s side earned a share of the spoils thanks to a late equaliser from Victor Munoz. But Alisson was still unimpressed following the game and was seen kicking the fourth official’s board - which had already caused controversy by not working and delaying Liverpool from making three substitutions in the build-up to Forest’s penalty - when leaving the pitch.
Alisson has now been fined £8,000 for his behaviour after the FA confirmed he had accepted a charge for misconduct.

An official statement read: “Liverpool’s Alisson Becker has been fined £8,000 for misconduct at the Premier League fixture against Nottingham Forest on 29 August.
“It was alleged that the goalkeeper acted in an improper manner around the tunnel area after the final whistle.
“Alisson Becker has subsequently accepted the charge against him and received the standard penalty.”
To add insult to injury, the Premier League's Key Match Incidents (KMI) Panel determined earlier this week that the penalty was wrongly-awarded by referee Sam Barrott during the clash with Forest.
Three members of the five-man panel believed that Alisson’s challenge on Williams had not been worthy of punishment.
However, after Barrott was not directed to the VAR screen for a review, the KMI panel unanimously agreed that VAR Michael Oliver took the correct action by not directing the match official to the pitchside monitor, deeming that it failed to reach the threshold for an intervention.
"The contact from Alisson was inevitable as a consequence of his momentum in attempting to save the ball," the KMI Panel said. "The contact made was not reckless and below the threshold for a penalty.
"However, the non-intervention by the VAR was unanimously supported on the basis that it was not a clear and obvious error."
