The Premier League has confirmed this year’s fixtures over the festive period with a full slate of Boxing Day games returning to the calendar.
Just one top-flight match was held on the day after Christmas last year amid a typically congested period of action, with seven held on 27 December.
With Boxing Day 2026 falling on a Saturday, though, the Premier League again has a bumper helping of festive football on offer, including Newcastle’s game against Manchester City – an 8pm GMT kick off.
A day later, meanwhile, Frank Lampard’s Coventry take on his former club Chelsea, while defending champions Arsenal travel to Crystal Palace.
After a full array of midweek fixtures on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 December, there is just one game on New Year’s Day 2027, with Leeds scheduled to host Everton at Elland Road.
