Bronny James praises Luka Doncic for 'hooking us up' on Lakers' Slovenia getaway image
Luka Doncic made sure his teammates were well taken care of during a recent offseason trip to his home country of Slovenia.
The Los Angeles Lakers guard served as the team's unofficial travel agent during a four-day minicamp in August, and some of the details from the trip are now coming to light.
Bronny James revealed that Doncic went all out, making sure that he and the NBA team got more than just a few practices in.
"He [Doncic] was hooking us up and getting us in the right places in Slovenia, seeing most of the country," James said during an appearance on ESPN LA.
The Lakers packed plenty of activities into their four-day trip.
They spent time in Ljubljana before visiting Lake Bled, where players enjoyed golf and sightseeing.
"The city [of Ljubljana] was great," James said. "The scenery and everything was great," he added. "We had the castle that was close to us. And then we went to Lake Bled, which was great."

The four-day getaway wasn't all castles and golf, though.
Doncic and his teammates got in several workouts, went rowing, visited patients at a local hospital, and enjoyed a little well-deserved downtime at a nightclub during the trip.
That outing in particular stirred up some chatter after former Playboy model Anja Jenka, 34, was spotted mingling inside the club while the Lakers were there.

According to local Slovenian outlet "Zurnal 24," Doncic apparently wasn't too distracted by the attention.
"Luka was actually avoiding the beauties, while Anja made only a brief appearance at the event," the outlet reported.
Either way, there is no indication James was referring to the nightclub when he talked about Doncic "hooking us up." His comments appeared to be about the trip as a whole and Doncic making sure his teammates got the full Slovenia experience.
It looks like he nailed it.
