The Los Angeles Clippers are dealing with so much. Not just the obvious things (i.e., investigations and sanctions). Bradley Beal agreed to come back for two years, and franchise legend Chris Paul is retired.
However, the Clippers seem to be doing all they can to erase Chris Paul's legacy. The impetus for this possible erasure came when it was announced that Beal will wear No. 3 instead of No. 0, per numerologist Etienne Catalan. No. 3 was the number Paul last wore in 2025.

It was a startling revelation considering that Paul had mentioned that the Clippers intended to retire his jersey, per 7 PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony.
As a result, fans are expressing their irritation at the organization for disrespecting Paul.
One who is seeing through it is Beal himself. He came forward to celebrate Paul's legacy in a series of social media posts, per ClutchPoints.

Paul became a standout point guard with the Clippers from 2011 to 2017, and again from 2025 to 2026. For six seasons, he helped usher in the era of “Lob City” alongside Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
They turned the Clippers into a mainstay in the NBA as they made the postseason six years in a row. They won the first Division titles in franchise history in 2013 and 2014.
Paul is destined for the Hall of Fame and is eligible in 2029. He is a 12-time NBA All-Star, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and a member of the NBA's 75th Anniversary team. Chris Paul last wore the number
