Andoni Iraola’s first months at Anfield have produced an unbeaten start to the season, even if the results have not always come easily.
Liverpool opened their Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw away at Newcastle United, before being held to the same scoreline at home by Nottingham Forest six days later.

The Reds ended that run without a win in Iraola’s third match in charge, beating Ipswich Town 2-0 away on Friday.
They followed that up in midweek with a 2-1 comeback win over Atletico Madrid in their Champions League opener at Anfield, Alexis Mac Allister’s second-half strike settling a game in which Liverpool had trailed to Marcos Llorente before Dominik Szoboszlai levelled.
The result marked Iraola’s first win as a manager in the Champions League.
That form now sets the backdrop for a fixture schedule update, with three of Liverpool festive Premier League matches revised, according to the official website.
The Reds will travel to Hull City on Saturday, December 26, with kick-off moved to 5.30pm.
Four days later, Liverpool face Aston Villa away on Wednesday, December 30, at 8.15pm.
Their first match of the new year has also changed, with the trip to Sunderland now set for Tuesday, January 5, at 8.15pm.
All three fixtures will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.
One festive date remains unchanged. Liverpool’s home game against Coventry City stays as originally scheduled, kicking off at 3pm on Saturday, January 2.
Liverpool said further updates on fixtures in November and December will be confirmed in due course, suggesting more scheduling changes could follow before the winter period begins.
With Hull City, Aston Villa and Sunderland all now confirmed for live television coverage, Liverpool festive fixtures will be under close watch as Iraola looks to build on his side’s unbeaten start to the campaign.
