Tottenham have been dealt fresh injury news, with Chelsea loanee Mykhailo Mudryk set for a spell on the sidelines just days after his debut. The Ukrainian winger picked up an ankle problem in training this week and is now expected to miss action until at least October.

As reported by ESPN, he is expected to be sidelined until after the international break, which pushes his return into next month at the earliest. Mykhailo Mudryk had not featured in a competitive match since November 2024. A positive test for the banned substance meldonium had triggered a lengthy dispute with anti-doping authorities. He was initially facing a four-year suspension, a punishment that would have effectively ended his career at the top level. The case dragged on for months before it was finally resolved with the Football Association, and he was cleared to return to action in July this year.
