Years ago, consumers began a shift away from legacy cable and satellite TV service, and toward internet streaming platforms, which has caused a cascade of (mostly negative) effects throughout the sports world.
Every year that goes by, the less Regional Sports Networks (RSN’s) that are left standing. It could be argued that no fanbase has hit harder by these changes than in Minnesota, where the Timberwolves, Twins, Wild and Lynx have gone away from RSN partners, to launch a variety of new ways to consume their product.
The Minnesota Twins were first to jump out of the RSN boat, rolling out Twins.TV at the start of the 2025 season. In 2026, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Wild will follow in their footsteps… kind of.
The Wild announced in the last couple weeks that, like the Twins, they are creating their own broadcast network called “Wild+” and moving their streaming home to Amazon Prime Video.
DAZN pricing structure for Wolves games unveiled
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves took a different approach. With their exit from FanDuel Sports Network, the Wolves have partnered with a streaming platform based outside the United States, called DAZN. And on Thursday, about a month since the deal was announced, they released the pricing options.
If you pay for the entire package at once, Timberwolves games on DAZN this season will cost $119.99. That’s more than both the Minnesota Twins ($99.99) and the Minnesota Wild ($99.99).
Regular tier = users can watch on 3 different devices in one location
Ultimate tier = 5 different devices in multiple locations.
Ultimate tier also includes 25% discount to Wolves team store.

However, the “regular” package monthly price of $19.99 is the same as Twins.TV and Wild+. If you want to watch with multiple devices in different locations, the price jumps by $5.00. If splurging for the Ultimate Tier, you also get a 25% discount at the team store. Season ticket holders are rewarded with a reduced rates, as well.
Unfortunately, as is the case with both the Twins and Wild now, you’ll need another app in your life to watch the Timberwolves in 2026-27.
Other notes on DAZN + MN Timberwolves streaming
The baseball team utilizes the MLB app, while hockey can be found on Prime Video whether you have Amazon Prime or not. DAZN is undoubtedly the least recognizable of the trio, but everyone knows where the App Store is, and that’s all that really matters.
One interesting note from Jon Krawczynski (The Athletic): Bars and restaurants will have games distributed via Everpass and DirecTV. Hospitalities pay different rates and must abide by special rules, when it comes to using TV to attract customers.
DAZN says there will be some promotional pricing throughout the season that will be lower than the headline pricing.
