Aaron Rodgers has opened up about the breakdown of his engagement to actress Shailene Woodley, and also made some shocking against his ex.The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback made an appearance on Thursday’s episode of Cam Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast, where he raised some rather jaw-dropping allegations against Woodley, that has taken social media by storm. During the interview, the quarterback got candid about the breakdown of his engagement and relationship with the 'Fault In Our Stars' actress.

While reflecting on the contrasting accounts surrounding their split, Rodgers shared a timeline of his romance and said that he and Woodley got engaged in December 2020. "She said yes," he began and went on to allege, "… A couple days after that she tells me, ‘Before we get married I gotta go f*** this guy.’”He, however, did not identify the man who Woodley was referring to.The NFL star suggested that the actress may have felt pressured when she agreed to marry him. He said, "I think she felt like she was forced to make a decision, but she could have said no."

Rodgers also pushed back against the alleged 'inaccurate' narrative that spread in the media. He alleged, “Her story is that I ruined her life and gave her crazy depression because I left her. But the actuality is she told me that and then she took off the ring by March,” he claimed.According to the NFL star, the pair attempted to reconcile several times, but were unable to revive their relationship. He said, "We had a couple of times where we tried to get reunited and nothing ever happened. There wasn’t even a relationship in 2022 to break off. She literally told me, ‘I don’t want to be with you,’ after we tried some reconciliation in 2021."

During the conversation, Rodgers also sent out a message to his exes, including Woodley and Danica Patrick, saying, "Move on with your life. Don’t mention me."Addressing Woodley directly, he added, “Shai, you left me, you took the ring off.”Since his split with the actress, Rodgers has moved on and is married to Brittani, whose identity was initially kept private. During the podcast appearance, he also described his wife as "the one that got away."
