Anthony Gordon has impressed at Barcelona following his summer transfer from Newcastle United

Former Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon has seen his transfer value rise again. The England international completed a move from St. James' Park to Barcelona early in the summer transfer window.
The move saw Newcastle receive an initial fee of £69.3million, although that will rise with certain add-ons included. He signed a five-year contract at the Nou Camp.
Gordon has made five appearances so far, providing five assists in his four La Liga appearances. Wednesday night saw him make his Champions League debut for Barcelona, coming on as a second half substitute in a 5-1 win over Feyenoord, although he did miss chances to increase that scoreline.

According to CIES Football Observatory's latest valuation of Gordon, both his move to Barcelona and the average inflation of around 15%, observed over the summer window, means that the 25-year-old is now estimated to be worth around €90million (£77.3m).
That means in just a couple of months, Gordon is worth around £7million more than what Barcelona paid Newcastle for him. If the winger continues to impress in Spain, that value could continue to increase over the season.
It has been claimed that Barcelona have agreed with Newcastle to postpone one of their scheduled payments of the transfer fee until June 2027. The Catalan side will pay a second payment which will reach the full agreed fee.

Following Wednesday night's game, Barca boss Hansi Flick admitted that Gordon missed chances to open his account for the club, but praised him for his impact so far.
"I think as a striker, from his side, you want to score goals," he said.
"He has had some chances and he missed them. But he has made the final pass to prepare the goals and this is also very important."
Gordon and Barca are next back in action when they travel to take on Levante in La Liga on Sunday (3.15pm kick-off). Flick's side currently sit top of La Liga, two points ahead of second placed Alaves, and three points above rivals Real Madrid in third.
