The Toffees have taken five points from their opening three Premier League games and showed plenty of character last time out, twice coming from behind to draw 2-2 with Manchester United at the Hill Dickinson.
Tottenham have endured a much tougher start. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have collected only one point from their opening three matches and are still waiting for their first Premier League goal of the season.

James Garner is expected to be available after his problem against Manchester United proved to be cramp. He was replaced during the second half of the 2-2 draw, allowing deadline-day arrival Ainsley Maitland-Niles to make his debut. The former Arsenal man subsequently announced himself to the Hill Dickinson with a superb 96th-minute equaliser.
Christian Nørgaard remains unavailable. Moyes said before the United game that he did not expect to have the experienced midfielder back before the international break. Maitland-Niles, Jack Grealish and Hayden Hackney all came from the bench against United and give Moyes some decisions to make ahead of the trip to north London.
Spurs have several absentees of their own, with Xavi Simons and Wilson Odobert continuing their recoveries from knee injuries. Dejan Kulusevski is still unavailable, while summer signing Mykhailo Mudryk is expected to miss the Everton game with an ankle problem.
There could be better news for Roberto De Zerbi over James Maddison. The midfielder has been recovering from a shoulder injury but could be in contention to return to the squad. Former Everton striker Richarlison will not face his old club after being left out of Tottenham’s 25-man Premier League squad.
