David Moyes’ side have five points from their opening three games, while Roberto De Zerbi’s Spurs are still searching for their first league win — and first goal — of the season.

Everton have won just one of their last 17 top-flight away games against Tottenham, drawing four and losing 12.
That solitary victory came in September 2020, when Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored in a 1-0 win behind closed doors.

Last season’s trip brought a 1-0 loss on the final day, when Joao Palhinha scored the only goal.
Tottenham have scored no Premier League goals this season.

Spurs have never started a league season by failing to score in their opening four matches.
Tottenham have won only one of their last 12 Premier League home games.
Unfortunately for Everton, it was against them. That 1-0 victory on the final day of last season is also Spurs’ only clean sheet across those 12 home matches.
Everton are without a win in their last six Premier League away games.
The sequence has alternated between defeat and draw, including the 1-1 draw at Bournemouth on their first away trip of this season.
Tottenham completed the league double over Everton by an aggregate score of 4-0 last season.
They have never beaten Everton three league games in succession without conceding.
The last time Tottenham went four consecutive top-flight games without scoring was 20 years ago.
That run included a 2-0 home defeat against Moyes’ Everton in August 2006. The Toffees played most of the game with 10 men after Kevin Kilbane was sent off, but a Calum Davenport own goal and Andy Johnson’s strike secured the win.
Twenty years later, Moyes can again prevent Spurs from finding the net for a fourth successive league game.
