Thousands of Chelsea fans heading to Stamford Bridge this weekend face travel disruption due to London Underground closures. On both Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, the District line will shut from Edgware Road/Tower Hill to Ealing Broadway, Kensington (Olympia), Richmond and Wimbledon for track works.
Supporters attending Chelsea's home fixture against Hull at 3pm on Saturday have been advised to travel on the Piccadilly line to Earl's Court. The station is a 27-minute walk from Stamford Bridge.
Alternatively, you can take the Mildmay line to either Imperial Wharf or West Brompton, which are both about a 20-minute walk. Transport bosses have also warned that an entire London Overground line will shut on Sunday for maintenance.
Buses will replace trains on the Suffragette line, which runs between Gospel Oak and Barking Riverside, due to planned maintenance. Affected passengers can also use the Elizabeth line in East London, while other parts of the route are situated near Tube connections. Here's a full list of weekend TfL closures from Friday, September 11 to Sunday, September 13. There are no confirmed closures on the Elizabeth line, DLR or Trams.

Central line
Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13: Trains will not stop at Marble Arch due to maintenance work in the station control room. Passengers should use Bond Street or the 94 bus route instead.
Circle line
Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13: No trains between Edgware Road and Aldgate via Victoria due to track work. Affected passengers can use other Tube and bus routes.
District line
Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13: No service between Edgware Road and Tower Hill, and Ealing Broadway and Kensington (Olympia), Richmond and Wimbledon due to track work. Affected passengers can use other Tube and bus routes.
Piccadilly line
Friday Night Tube, September 11: Trains will not stop at Earl’s Court between 3.15am and 5.45am due to track work. Affected passengers can use night bus services.
London Overground closures
Mildmay line
Sunday, September 13: No service between Willesden Junction and Richmond due to maintenance work. Affected passengers can use local or replacement buses.
Suffragette line
Sunday, September 13: The entire Suffragette line will shut this weekend due to maintenance work. Affected passengers can use Tube and Elizabeth line services, or travel on local and replacement bus routes.
Windrush line
Sunday, September 13: No trains between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction until 9am. Trains will instead terminate at Battersea Park, where passengers can take Southern trains to Clapham Junction.
