Hull City have been handed a £30,000 fine and an action plan after being charged by the FA for fan chants during last season's FA Cup clash vs Chelsea.
The Tigers were on the end of a 4-0 home defeat from the Blues in the fourth round of the competition back in February. The match saw a message posted on the stadium's big screens urging the chants to stop.
The club were subsequently charged by the FA, with the punishment now revealed.
In a statement, the FA have said: "An independent Regulatory Commission has imposed an action plan and £30,000 fine on Hull City AFC for breaching FA Rules E21.1 and E21.4 during the 31st minute of its FA Cup fixture against Chelsea FC on 13 February 2026.

"It was alleged that the club failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters (and anyone purporting to be supporters) do not use words or behave in an improper, offensive, abusive, indecent or insulting way with a reference – whether express or implied – to sexual orientation.
"Hull City AFC subsequently admitted the charge.
"The Regulatory Commission imposed the club's sanctions following a hearing and its written reasons and action plan will be published at the earliest opportunity."
The chants saw four men arrested during the game. Following the match, Tigers' boss Sergej Jakirovic condemned the chants.
"This is not the place for this, in the stadium and also in public. This is not good, for sure," he said.
"The stadium is not a place for that, and this is the reason why they have been arrested."
Then Chelsea, and former Hull boss Liam Rosenior, added: “Without knowing what has happened, any discriminatory language is unacceptable.
“The fourth official mentioned something to me, but I was so focused on the game I honestly don’t know what happened.”
