Farai Hallam will referee Chelsea’s Premier League meeting with Hull City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues return to league action following Wednesday’s remarkable 6-3 Carabao Cup victory over Leeds United.
Hallam will take charge of the 3pm BST kick-off, while experienced official Michael Oliver has been appointed as VAR.
The Premier League’s official Matchweek Four appointments also confirm Lee Betts and Simon Long as the assistant referees.
Rob Jones will serve as fourth official, with Oliver Mackey acting as assistant VAR.

Hallam is already familiar with both Chelsea and Hull.
Chelsea’s official match facts ahead of Saturday’s game reveal this will be his third match involving the Blues.
He previously refereed Chelsea’s 4-0 FA Cup victory over Hull last season.
Hallam was also in charge when Chelsea beat Port Vale 7-0 at Stamford Bridge in the same competition.
Saturday will therefore reunite him with the two clubs following that previous cup meeting.
Hallam has shown 11 yellow cards across four matches in all competitions this season, according to his current refereeing record, without issuing a red card.
Chelsea supporters will also recognise the name in the VAR room.
Oliver remains one of the Premier League’s most experienced officials and will oversee any major incidents from Stockley Park.
