With less than 65 hours between the last match and kickoff against Fulham, Andoni Iraola could either look to inject fresh legs or hold back with next week in mind.
Liverpool won their second game in a row in midweek, and thankfully were not asked to travel for their next Premier League game, with Fulham making the trip to Merseyside.
The visitors will arrive having enjoyed a midweek without a game, which cannot be said for the Reds, who had a quick turnaround to recover and prepare.
With minimal changes thus far between games, Iraola could look to make a few more tweaks to his starting lineup to help ensure there will be no sluggish start to the match.
So, here is how the Reds could line up at Anfield.
Liverpool team news vs. Fulham: Gakpo doubt, Barcola latest
Cody Gakpo did not train on Thursday but will be put through a fitness test on Friday to see “if he’s ready” or has to wait until next week
Bradley Barcola only suffered from cramp midweek and “should be available” if he trains as normal on Friday
Conor Bradley, Joe Gomez, Giovanni Leoni, and Hugo Ekitike remain out due to injury

Significant changes will not be expected, with that instead likely to come next week when Tottenham visit for the League Cup clash – thus, there is the chance Iraola could make just one change.
There could be a desire to retain Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai in midfield, with a view to giving the duo a rest during Tuesday’s game.
With doubts that Gakpo will be fit to start, Victor Munoz could get his chance on the right wing after another cameo against Atletico, moving Barcola to the left.
The Frenchman only suffered from cramp in his first start, and he could be named again, as he would be preferred over Rio Ngumoha, before a pre-planned substitution early in the second half.

Should Iraola decide to make more changes, Kostas Tsimikas will be a strong candidate to come in at left-back for Milos Kerkez for his first start of the campaign.
And other possible changes include Ryan Gravenberch, who has had the opportunity to see what’s required from the bench and should have no issues with his motivation.
If Fulham are to continue their attacking style, Iraola will need to make it clear to the Dutchman and Szoboszlai that consistent gaps in midfield will only be the Reds’ downfall.
Should neither Gakpo nor Barcola be fit to start, Ngumoha will join Munoz as another new winger pairing from the start, to make it three changes.

Fulham arrive with three defeats from their opening league games, but Liverpool cannot afford to underestimate them, having already suffered from sluggish starts this season.
The visitors have shown a desire to attack, and while that leaves an opportunity going the other way, the Reds cannot start a fourth game this campaign having to chase the scoreline.
Liverpool have enough to make it three wins on the bounce, but their mentality has to be up for it from the start.
