**It’s safe to say each of Liverpool’s summer signings has already shown that they could be important players at Anfield.**
Victor Munoz has already scored, and not much needs to be said about Bradley Barcola as he comes with quite the reputation of being one of the most potent attackers in world football.
Jeremy Jacquet has made the centre-back spot his own alongside Virgil van Dijk and certainly looks the part despite moving to a new country at the age of 20.
Ronald Araujo wasn’t expected to feature much – at least at the start – but Andoni Iraola has deployed him as a right-back in recent weeks.
The Uruguayan has responded with strong performances against Ipswich Town and Atletico Madrid as he continues to get to grips with his new surroundings.
And now, Fabrizio Romano says Liverpool are absolutely delighted with the 27-year-old, who they can sign permanently for £47m next summer.
“Liverpool are delighted with Araujo,” said Romano via his YouTube channel.
“So I think that deal as Deco said today, was very good for everyone. It allowed Araujo to go and challenge himself in a different league.
“Liverpool get a player who can cover right back, centre back, a leader, a captain, so an excellent signing, and also Barca because they save around 12 million euros gross salary.
“Then don’t forget that it is a straight loan. So if Liverpool decide at the end of the season to continue with Araujo, they will need to negotiate with Barcelona.
“Araujo is always speaking kind words for Barca, because he respects Barcelona and the exit was on very good terms.
“So I think it’s still very early days. It’s been a few weeks, but Liverpool are very happy with the attitude and the performances.”
If the Uruguayan carries on in the same vein, Liverpool will surely consider making the deal permanent for £47m.
However, as Romano said, it’s still early days, so all parties involved will look to make a decision later in the season.
