**Jordan Pickford may need to clear another little space on the mantelpiece after collecting the Premier League’s Save of the Month award for August.**
The [Everton](https://readeverton.com/) goalkeeper took the prize for his superb stop against Crystal Palace at the Hill Dickinson.
Pickford produced a brilliant reaction save to keep Palace out as Everton went on to win 2-0, with the stop now voted the best in the Premier League during August. Everton’s response on social media was suitably brief.
“Another one. ☝️🏆”
They’re entitled to be a little blasé about it. Pickford finished last season by winning the Premier League’s Save of the Season award for his late stop from Sandro Tonali in Everton’s win at Newcastle.
It was the second time he had collected the season-long prize, having also won the inaugural award in 2021/22. Pickford had already won four Save of the Month awards before this season – more than any other goalkeeper since the prize was introduced in 2022/23.
So, yes. Another one.
The more important bit was what the save contributed to. Pickford kept a clean sheet as David Moyes’ side beat Palace 2-0 at the Hill Dickinson. The trophy can go with the others.
