**Alvaro Arbeloa** offered his thoughts on **Andoni Iraola**, the new **Liverpool** head coach.
The pair know each other from their time in the **Spain** national team, and Arbeloa has tracked the work of his compatriot onto English shores as he has risen in the game to earn his post at **Anfield**.
·**‘They are so aggressive, they press high’**
----------------------------------------------
Arbeloa sees stylistic elements that are becoming a part and parcel of what the _Reds_ want to do on the pitch, and he expects **Fulham** to face a difficult test against a team with back-to-back victories.
_“I played with Andoni in the national team, and obviously we faced each other many, many times in_ **_La Liga_**_. I know him very, very well._
_“I saw him when he was the coach of_ **_Mirandés_**_,_ **_Rayo Vallecano_**_, and after in_ **_Bournemouth_**_, so I know that he's an amazing coach, and I'm not surprised that now he's the coach of_ **_Liverpool_**_._
_“He has been doing amazing work here in the_ **_Premier League_**_, and now_ **_Liverpool_** _you can see they are playing in the style he's always playing with his teams, and of course it will be so difficult for us._
_“You can see that they are improving, and they are now controlling better the games, and obviously I think they were a little bit unlucky in some games. I watched the game against_ **_Atlético Madrid_**_, against a very tough team in the_ **_Champions League_**_, and they did a very good game._
_“They are so aggressive, they press high, they want to control the game, and of course, they are so, so, so quick in front, and have players with a lot of quality – top, top players, and I think a top squad._
_“They are a team that put a lot of crosses, too, so we have been working on how we can defend them, and also, we will have our chances for sure. We score goals, and I know that we can score goals against any of the teams in the_ **_Premier League_**_, and that's the thing that we are doing so well. We are creating so many chances when we have the ball, and we are also aggressive without the ball.”_
