The New England Patriots are placing wide receiver [A.J. Brown](https://www.nfl.com/players/a-j-brown/) on injured reserve after he suffered an ankle injury during Wednesday's [Kickoff Game](https://www.nfl.com/games/patriots-at-seahawks-2026-reg-1) against the Seahawks, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported.
