**Andoni Iraola** spoke about the work of **Alvaro Arbeloa** at **Fulham**.
The _Cottagers_ have lost all three of their **Premier League** fixtures this season against **Chelsea** (2-3), **Sunderland** (1-0) and **Crystal Palace** (2-3.) Only **Coventry City** have a worst record in the top tier.
·**‘They have technically lovely players’**
-------------------------------------------
Iraola is eager to get back-to-back wins in the English topflight with the _Reds_ at **Anfield**, but he believes his compatriot, with whom he played for **Spain**, should not be written off in this moment.
_“I think \[Arbeloa and I\] played very few times together in the national team – we were fighting more or less for \[the\] position. I think he was more successful: he played more games than me in that case!_
_“We haven't had too much of a relationship from there. I remember a lot of games playing against each other when he was also in_ **_Deportivo La Coruna_**_, in_ **_Real Madrid_** _and in different teams. But at the end, this is the_ **_Premier League_**_. Once the game starts, you focus on yourself._
_“The thing is we've just played three_ **_Premier League_** _games and to take big conclusions about any team is, I think, too early. I think_ **_Fulham_** _is a great example._
_“I think they've played well in their three games, honestly – they've lost their three games by one goal. I think if you see a lot of the starts that they have, if you don't know the points they have, you will think they will have four, five points at least because they've been controlling the games, they have 60-something per cent of possession. They've been quite comfortable on the ball especially._
_“They have technically lovely players. It's difficult to press well against them because they have good technical quality. But they've also conceded goals and that's the main reason they haven't won probably. But I for sure expect they've been working on this thing. We know most of the_ **_Fulham_** _players – they haven't changed a lot._
_“They've done some signings but the core of the team continues to be the same and they've been so good in the last years of the_ **_Premier League_** _that we know it's going to be a difficult game.”_
