The 'next few months will be crucial' as superstar 'could be the next £100m+ signing for Liverpool'

**Liverpool could reportedly sign Michael Olise in 2027, but it will be an incredibly expensive transfer.**

Liverpool are yet to sign an heir to Mohamed Salah, who scored 257 goals and assisted 123 more. The Egyptian’s move to Trabzonspor this summer has left them without a world class right winger, which is something the club will look to change in the next couple of transfer windows.

Olise would be perfect for this honour. 47 goals and 46 assists since the start of the 2024/25 season make him the perfect candidate to replace Salah in terms of attacking output, with the Bayern star also stylistically similar to the former Liverpool forward.

Reporting for Bayern Insider, German journalist Christian Falk reports that there is “no reason to believe” that Liverpool cannot pursue another blockbuster signing, this time for Michael Olise.

The Reds have just spent £106m committed to a guaranteed £106m for Bradley Barcola, with £17m in add-ons taking the overall value to £123m, but Liverpool apparently have the funds to commit to a huge deal for Olise too – on paper at least.

Olise would cost many tens of millions more than the base £106m fee Liverpool paid for Barcola. Bayern Munich are not in the habit of being ripped off for their main stars, and so this would be drastically more than even the £125m paid for Alexander Isak.

Falk said: “_Bayern, obviously, would love to keep Olise at the club for years to come and want the Frenchman to sign a new deal. However, there could be multiple factors behind Olise’s decision to look for options elsewhere, and one of them is Bayern’s European performances._

_“Liverpool have shown in recent years that they can spend big in the transfer market, buying players for more than £100m, and there is no reason to believe they cannot pursue a deal for Olise. The Frenchman is a left-footed wing wizard who has previous Premier League experience with Crystal Palace._

_“The Reds have signed Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but Olise could be the next £100m+ signing for Liverpool as they look to strengthen their right wing._

_“The next few months will be crucial. It would be a massive success for Eberl and Bayern if they can convince Olise to stay and help the club win the Champions League in the near future.”_

Olise is worth it

-----------------

Last season, he scored 22 goals and assisted 31 for Bayern Munich in their rampant season, which, with better luck and defending against PSG, had the potential to be a treble.

Olise is the best right-winger in the world. Only Yamal is close to him, and so whoever signs the 24-year-old Frenchman guarantees the club that signs him several years competing for the biggest prizes.

If Liverpool could make him the heir to Salah, they would have an attack of the same quality as the one Jurgen Klopp had when he also had Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Adding Olise to an attack already featuring Barcola and Alexander Isak (and soon Hugo Ekitike too) would be incredible. It’s a fantasy for now, but if more reports emerge saying that there is nothing standing in Liverpool’s way to signing Olise, it could become a reality.
