GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The judge overseeing Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs’ domestic abuse case is sealing multiple records, including video of the incident.
Jacobs pleaded no contest Thursday to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property from an incident involving his girlfriend in May.
The judge signed an order immediately after the plea that temporarily seals evidence in the case.
As part of a plea deal, Jacobs must pay a $1,000 fine on the battery charge. The criminal damage to property charge could be dropped in the future.
Jacobs remains on the NFL’s commissioner’s exempt list, meaning he cannot play or practice.
The NFL has not announced a suspension for Jacobs.
