Chelsea will face Hull City in the Premier League this weekend with Xabi Alonso providing an injury update on the squad

Chelsea and Hull City will have a number of players unavailable for selection when they go head-to-head in the Premier League this weekend. The Blues will host the Tigers at Stamford Bridge as they look to return to winning ways in the top flight.
Xabi Alonso's side were beaten 2-1 by Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend, but responded by claiming a 6-3 victory over Leeds United in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Attention will now return to the Premier League, where Chelsea will host newly-promoted Hull on home soil in one of their final matches before the international break.
However, Chelsea are guaranteed to have some players on the sidelines for Saturday afternoon’s fixture, while Hull also has several members of their squad unavailable.
Moises Caicedo will miss Chelsea’s match against Hull, with Alonso confirming that the midfielder is yet to fully recover from injury.
"Not yet. We'll see for Brentford," Alonso said on Friday. "We're not at a moment to take risks with him. Not yet, not yet."
Marco Palestra is also set to wait for his Chelsea debut with an injury he picked up during training, while Jordan Henderson and Emmanuel Emegha are also both still unavailable as they continue their recovery from injuries.
"Not tomorrow. We hope they can be for Brentford, but we'll see," Alonso said when asked about the possibility of Henderson and Emegha returning this weekend.

Hull will also have several players unavailable for selection this weekend.
Hidemasa Morita has been ruled out of the game, with the midfielder still recovering from a groin injury which has kept him on the sidelines for each of the last two matches in all competitions.
Charlie Hughes is also set to be unavailable for the game against Chelsea, with the defender yet to make an appearance this season due to a groin injury.
Eliot Matazo (knee), Darko Gyabi (adductor), Jack Butland (arm) and Ilyas Ansah (back) are also expected to be on the sidelines for the Tigers's trip to west London.
