ForEverton supporters making their first trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today, it is one of the more straightforward Premier League away grounds to reach by public transport — but there are a few things worth knowing before setting off.
The Toffees face Tottenham in north London at 5.30pm, with 3,038 Evertonians making the journey south.

Where do Everton fans sit at Tottenham?
Visiting supporters are housed in Blocks 114 to 118 in the North-East corner of the stadium. Evertonians should approach via Worcester Avenue and use Entrances 11 and 12.
The away section has safe standing installed, while supporters who need to sit can be accommodated in designated areas. The accessible away entrance is 11a, with easy-access seating and wheelchair spaces also available.
What’s the best station for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?
White Hart Lane is comfortably the closest station, around a five-minute walk from the ground. London Overground services connect it with Liverpool Street, Enfield Town and Cheshunt.
Northumberland Park is another option and is roughly a 10-minute walk away. Greater Anglia services connect it with Liverpool Street, Cambridge and Stansted Airport.
Supporters using the Victoria line can travel to Tottenham Hale, approximately 25 minutes away on foot, or Seven Sisters, around a 30-minute walk.
Tottenham themselves point out that Tottenham Hale is the shorter walk for supporters using the Victoria line. Seven Sisters may be the station traditionally associated with a trip to Spurs, but Tottenham Hale could make more sense depending on your journey.
All four stations become extremely busy around matches, so allow plenty of time.
Can Everton fans drive to Tottenham?
Public transport is the sensible option for most supporters.
There is no general-admission parking at the stadium, while an Event Day Controlled Parking Zone operates in the surrounding area. There are also road closures around the ground before and after matches.
Official and unofficial away coaches use designated parking areas, with supporters directed towards the stadium from there.
What can you take into the stadium?
Tottenham advise supporters not to bring a bag unless it is necessary, and restrictions apply to bags taken inside. There is no general bag-drop facility at the stadium, so check Tottenham’s official bag policy before travelling if you intend to take one.
All supporters are subject to security checks, with prohibited items including bottles, cans and flasks. Liquids cannot be brought into the stadium.
Can you get food and a pint in the away end?
Yes. The visitors’ section has Touchline Grills and Tap Inns, which open when the stadium does, two hours before kick-off, with food, beer and soft drinks available.
The stadium and surrounding campus are cashless, so you’ll need a debit or credit card or a mobile payment method such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
What is the Tottenham away end like?
The away section is in the lower tier of the North-East corner rather than being tucked away high behind a goal, with safe-standing rails throughout the visitors’ section.
It is a modern ground built with sightlines in mind, and having the away support together in the lower tier should help the atmosphere.
As with most new stadiums, it is rather different from the cramped old-school away ends many of us grew up with. Whether that’s progress probably depends on your age.
What happens after the match?
Tottenham operate post-match queuing systems at all four nearby stations, so White Hart Lane being only five minutes from the stadium doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be straight onto a train.
