Defending Premier League champion Arsenal is looking to continue its perfect start to the season as it travels to Sunderland today.
Mikel Arteta’s side already looks to be in a strong position to hold onto its title, having won every game so far and only conceded one goal in the process. Any more points picked up today will see the Gunners move above Manchester City at the top of the table ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby.
Arsenal though does face a tough test today, and what was one of the hardest assignments last season, with Sunderland having boasted one of the best home records in the league. After a disappointing start with defeat to Ipswich this time around, Regis Le Bris’ side have returned to form with four points from the last couple of games.

Sunderland has Romaine Mundle and Habib Diarra out for today’s game. The former will be absent until Christmas with a knee injury, with the former is expected to be out for another month with a hamstring issue.
