2026 Seasons Inactives

We are going to keep a running tally every week of who has been inactive.

Injury Report

Here is a look at the Cleveland Browns injury report for the week:

Questionable - C Parker Brailsford

Out - G Teven Jenkins

Injured Reserve

Each NFL team is limited to bringing eight players a season back from injured reserve or the non football injury list. Once a player goes on the IR list they must miss four games (games not weeks, so bye week doesn't count). Once designated for return they have three weeks to be activated to the 53 man roster. There is no in year season ending injured reserve, this is just players that have been put on IR and the team has said they have no plans to bring them back this year due to the severity of the injury. Players can be returned from injured reserve twice in a single season.

Can return after week four: QB Dillon Gabriel, DT Kalia Davis

Can return after week six: TE Joe Royer

Roster Moves

Here are the Cleveland Browns roster moves this week:

Waived from injured reserve: WR Jamari Thrash, DT Travis Bell

Signed to the practice squad: WR Bub Means, ED Nadame Tucker, DT Zion Logue

Released from the practice squad: WR Bryce Oliver, DT Tyreak Sapp, P Wes Pahl

Practice Squad Elevations

Each week, teams can elevate two players from the practice squad that can then be used on the game-day roster. Teams don't need to elevate any players, though, and they might not for most weeks because these players come with a cost on the salary cap. You can elevate a player from the practice squad three times across the season, this limit doesn't apply to the playoffs though. This is to ensure competitive balance and stop teams from effectively locking 55 players into their roster with a handshake agreement.

This week the Cleveland Browns are not expected to elevate anyone from the practice squad.

We will keep a running tally of all the practice squad elevations this season.
