The National media is not looking too kindly on the Colts chances vs the Ravens on their season opener. Of the 40 analysts surveyed, only 5 chose the Colts, 2 of whom are from the local IndyStar.
However of the 20 analysts who provided specific score predictions, 19 predicted it would be a 1 score game. The only one expecting a 2 score victory would be Tom Grossi of NFL Network predicting a 27 to 17 Ravens win.
Even in spite of the overwhelming consensus believing the Colts will not beat the Ravens, there is also a clear consensus that the Colts will keep the game close.
Can the Colts defy the odds and beat the Ravens? Time will tell this Sunday.
