‘Condition’ – Andoni Iraola says Liverpool new signing is still adapting physically

**Liverpool were held to a 0-0 draw vs Fulham at Anfield as they played out their third draw of the new Premier League campaign.**

New signing Bradley Barcola started his first game in the competition. After also starting in midweek, the Frenchman didn’t have too much of a chance to show his class as the Fulham defenders kept him quiet.

Against Atletico, Barcola had his chances and should have scored, but overall, he was more involved in the game than was the case against Alvaro Arbeloa’s side.

And Andoni Iraola feels he is still adapting to the rigours of Premier League football after his big-money move from PSG.

“Bradley is one we are building up physically with games and the games will give him the condition we want,” said Iraola after the game.

“But it is not just Bradley, we lack the freshness. I only remember one clear chance \[for Fulham\] and we kept the structure but offensively we need to do much better.”

Liverpool don’t have a big enough squad to negotiate three games in 10 days seamlessly and it showed vs Fulham.
