**Liverpool produced their worst performance under Andoni Iraola as they were held to a 0-0 draw against Fulham.**
The Reds failed to score competitively for the first time under the Spaniard and looked lacklustre in attack.
New signing Bradley Barcola made his first Premier League start and Cody Gakpo returned to the bench after missing the midweek game due to an adductor injury.
However, neither of them was able to make an impact as Fulham left Anfield with a well-deserved point.
Liverpool didn’t create any clear-cut chances for their attackers despite seeing a lot of the ball, which is a worrying sign for the new manager.
“I think what was lacking was quite clear,” said Iraola after the game.
“It’s the first game since I’ve been here that we had problems creating chances to score goals to make a difference offensively.
“That’s the main reason we couldn’t create enough chances, and we didn’t score a goal.”
