Rodri, Olmo & Pedri In Midfield: Predicted 4-3-3 Barcelona Lineup vs Levante
Barcelona aim to continue their rollicking start to the 2026/27 season on Sunday when they make the trip to Levante.
Blaugrana are the only club in La Liga to boast a 100 per cent record, having won their opening four games. They demolished Valencia 5-0 at the Mestalla, before beginning their Champions League campaign with a thumping 5-1 home win over Feyenoord in midweek.
Hansi Flick’s side will be strong favourites on paper against Levante, who have picked up just five points from a possible 12.
Barcelona Team News
Frenkie de Jong and Roony Bardghji are currently sidelined with knee injuries. Eric Garcia suffered a facial injury against Valencia that subsequently ruled him out of the Feyenoord fixture. However, the Spanish defender is expected to be cleared to play against Levante with a protective mask.
Predicted Barcelona lineup vs Levante (4-3-3)
Goalkeeper
Joan Garcia has enjoyed a solid start to the season and will continue in goal for Barcelona, aiming to keep back-to-back clean sheets in La Liga.
Defence
Eric Garcia is expected to be cleared to play on Sunday. The Spaniard should get the nod over Jules Kounde to start at right-back in the Barcelona lineup, with young Xavi Espart fresh to return to the starting XI after being rested against Feyenoord. He will play at left-back.
Pau Cubarsi should line up alongside Andreas Christensen in central defence in the Barcelona lineup. The duo will look to stitch attacks from the back, whilst keeping the Levante attackers quiet.
Midfield
Rodri, Pedri and Dani Olmo started in Barcelona’s 5-1 rout of Feyenoord and were all taken off in the second half. The trio are excellent in recycling possession, manipulating the ball and dictating the tempo of the game. Flick is likely to stick with the Spaniards in the middle of the park.
Gavi, Fermin Lopez and Marc Bernal should get chances to impress off the bench against Levante.
Attack
Raphinha continued his sizzling form with a brace against Feyenoord. There is no reason whatsoever for the Brazilian to not start and lead the Barcelona attack again.
Arguably the best young talent in Europe, Lamine Yamal, who supplied two assists in midweek, will try to create chaos for the hosts from the right flank.
With his explosive pace and directness, Anthony Gordon should be looking to make inroads from the opposite wing in the Barcelona lineup.
Gabriel Jesus and Karim Adeyemi may get minutes in the second half, as Barcelona eye five league wins on the trot.
