Rocco Becht may have raised his NFL Draft stock after putting up a strong performance in the No. 16 Penn State Nittany Lions' 27-9 win over the Temple Owls on Saturday afternoon.
Becht is going through the fifth year of his collegiate career, his first with the Nittany Lions. He joined the program this past offseason after moving on from the Iowa State Cyclones after four seasons. He was their starting quarterback for the last three years, providing valuable experience to the Penn State attack.
Becht's experience seems to be paying off as he balled out in the Nittany Lions' victory over Temple on the road. He completed 21 out of 27 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns, each driving score proving to be more decisive than the last.

Rocco Becht knows he must perform at a high level to improve his pace in NFL Draft projections. This proves to be promising for Penn State as they improve to 2-0 this season after taking down Temple on the road.
The game was initially close as Temple held Penn State scoreless in the first quarter. The Nittany Lions broke the game open with 10 points the following quarter before outscoring the Owls 17-6 throughout the course of the second half.
Carson Hansen had a solid outing in the rushing attack, racking up 19 carries for 84 yards. Benjamin Brahmer was the top receiver of the day with five catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Koby Howard came next with three receptions for 68 yards, while Chase Sowell caught five passes for 58 yards and a touchdown.
The No. 16 Nittany Lions will look forward to their next matchup, being at home. They host the Buffalo Bulls in Week 3 as kickoff commences on Sept. 19 at 12 p.m. ET.
