The Celtics improved their center depth significantly this offseason, signing free agent/recent NBA champion Mitchell Robinson to a multi-year contract.
They are excited to see him in the rotation, and Robinson recently said he's itching to get back on the court.

Robinson posted on social media, “Right now, I’m just so confident in myself…I feel like this is going to be a great year for me. As you can see, I’m starting to take recovery a lot more seriously,” (via Daniel Donabedian).
The Celtics still have Neemias Queta, who started for Boston last year, but the addition of Robinson gives the Celtics added center depth this upcoming season.
Robinson has had some injury issues in the past, but is very impactful when on the court, and clearly wants to put himself in a position where he's healthy and able to contribute to the best of his ability.

They've had some recent issues at the center position, so there's optimism the addition of Robinson can help them improve in that area.
Robinson played in 18 games this past postseason and was involved in several crucial moments, helping the Knicks earn their first title in 53 years.
Last regular season, Robinson averaged 5.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 19.6 minutes.
