Jason Sanders Gets the Call for Jets Against Titans – JetNation
Jason Sanders will kick for the Jets in Sunday’s opener, although Aaron Glenn says the competition with Blake Grupe is not over. Sanders has the advantage of months of work with long snapper Thomas Hennessy and holder Austin McNamara, while Grupe has been with the team for less than two weeks. Sanders won the original summer competition against Cade York, was briefly released after Grupe was claimed, and now gets the first regular-season opportunity.
