Manchester United and rivals Manchester City will lock horns in a blockbuster Premier League derby on Monday morning (AEST).
Michael Carrick’s United are coming off a 4-0 UEFA Champions League win over Sabah FC (Friday AEST) but just a three day turnaround compared to City, who have an extra two days to recover having overcome Porto in the UCL on Wednesday (AEST).
The season’s maiden Manchester Derby also marks the first for new City boss Enzo Maresca, who replaced Pep Guardiola at the end of 2025-26.
City travel to Old Trafford with the chance to make it four wins from four games to start the 2026-27 Premier League season and join defending champions Arsenal atop the table, while United are looking to record their second win of the domestic campaign have collected four points out of a possible nine.
