Manchester City head to Old Trafford with a 100 per cent Premier League record after three straight wins to open the season.
The Blues also won at Porto in their Champions League opener in midweek as their fine response to the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal last month.
The Manchester derby could pose the stiffest test of Enzo Maresca's City since the Cardiff clash with the Gunners and the Italian has some big selection calls to make with only Jeremy Doku missing through injury.
One certainty is Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal while captain Ruben Dias and Marc Guehi will surely form the centre back pairing. Matheus Nunes is fit again and his presence on the right will provide City with balance. Left back is a call between the fit-again Nico O'Reilly and Josko Gvardiol and it might be the latter retains his place given O'Reilly has only just recovered from a back issue and hasn't actually played at left back yet in the league having been used in midfield.
Maresca could find a spot for O'Reilly in the middle of the park but Elliot Anderson and Enzo Fernandez seem certain to start and as good as Ayyoub Bouaddi was on debut in midweek, it would be a big call to push him in from the start again.
Rayan Cherki could start in the number 10 position with Antoine Semenyo on one side and Phil Foden, who has an excellent derby goalscoring record, on the other. Erling Haaland will lead the line.
