Manchester United hosts Manchester City in the first derby of the season at Old Trafford, with Michael Carrick hoping to get one over Enzo Maresca in the latter's first experience of the fixture as head coach.
So far this season, Manchester United has lost to Hull City, beaten Ipswich, and drawn with Everton. Manchester City has won all three league games against Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, and Coventry.
Last year, the two sides won a game apiece. Manchester City won 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium, and Manchester United won 2-0 at Old Trafford in Carrick's first match in charge after making a return.
In the United Kingdom, the game will be shown by Sky Sports and will be available via its streaming services. In the United States, it will be on NBC and Peacock.
"It'll definitely be different because no two games are ever the same, so it’s definitely going to be different," Carrick said in his pre-match press conference when asked about last year's win for his side in this fixture.
"There's no way we're assuming: ‘We won last year, we can do the same things and everything will be the same.’ I understand the expectation.

"Everything was quite fresh and new then, and we didn’t really know where it was going to go.
"The players, myself, the coaches, you guys, were all waiting to see how it would go, and it was a quick turnaround.
"I think the confidence we've built over a period of time, and the feeling that we're getting better all the time, I think that helps us. We know it's a big game, we know it’s an important game.
"There’s a lot riding on it, that’s pretty obvious to say, but we're looking forward to it. We've got a short space of time to recover and prepare, but we'll make the most of it."

Maresca, meanwhile, was asked about new signing Enzo Fernandez, who matched Alexander Isak's British transfer record fee of $169 million (£125 million).
"You can see how the teammates speak on him in terms of a winner mentality," Maresca claimed.
"I always say the same that players who already won know how to win and it’s important they are in our squad. But also it’s about working hard every day, he’s polite, he’s working good, it’s what we need."
