Ahead of the 2026 NFL season, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is getting criticized by sports commentator Skip Bayless. Bayless is blasting Rodgers, claiming the quarterback is self-centered.
“Aaron Rodgers is the all time finger pointing blame deflecting diva in the history of pro football,” Bayless said, per his show Gridiron.

Those comments come just before the Steelers opener on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons. Pittsburgh is led by Rodgers for the 2026 season. The veteran quarterback has pledged he will play just one more NFL season.
Rodgers is known for speaking his mind. This summer he has criticized ESPN, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and even his ex-girlfriends. Rodgers made controversial comments about his ex, actress Shailene Woodley, that Bayless critiqued.
“And now he's at it again; the other day, blaming, pointing the finger at one of his exes, ex-girlfriend, Shailene Woodley. I'm calling BS on Aaron Rodgers. I hope she called BS,” Bayless added on his podcast.

Rodgers has played for the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and now Steelers in his NFL career. Steelers fans hope that Rodgers is effective on the field this 2026 season.
Pittsburgh has a new head coach for the 2026 campaign. That is Mike McCarthy, who replaces Mike Tomlin. Tomlin stepped down at the end of the 2025 season.
McCarthy is reuniting with Rodgers in Pittsburgh. The two won a Super Bowl together with the Green Bay Packers nearly 20 years ago. Ironically, that Packers Super Bowl win was over Tomlin and the Steelers.
During the 2025 campaign, the Steelers made the NFL Playoffs before losing to the Houston Texans. Rodgers finished the 2025 season with 3,322 passing yards and 24 touchdowns.
