Donors at any Stanford Blood Center, including the South Bay Donor Center in Campbell, or mobile drive during the month of September will automatically be entered to win two club level tickets to the San Francisco vs. Washington football game at Levi’s Stadium on Monday, Oct. 19. Four donors will be chosen to win one pair of tickets each.

A healthy investment
Silicon Valley Career Technical Education (SVCTE) has received a $500,000 first-year investment from Sutter Health as part of a three-year partnership to strengthen healthcare career pathways and expand opportunities for students to connect classroom learning with real-world careers.
Sutter Health has committed an additional $250,000 for the second year of the partnership, with third-year funding to be determined based on program needs.
The first-year investment will support approximately 250 students across five SVCTE healthcare pathways: two Medical Assisting courses, Medical Science/Health Careers, Nursing Careers and Sports Medicine & Kinesiology. Funding will support updated equipment and curriculum, career-connected learning opportunities, student mentorship and expanded work-based learning experiences designed to prepare students for future careers in healthcare.
