GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) -The National Football League is attempting to obtain video evidence in its investigation into Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs.
ESPN and NFL Network insider Ian Rapaport [reported Sunday](https://x.com/RapSheet/status/2099126275805708785?s=20) morning the NFL is working on “legal maneuvers” to try and obtain the video of the incident between Jacobs and his girlfriend in May.
That video along with other evidence in the case was sealed by a Brown County judge last week, according to court records.
As we’ve reported, Jacobs pleaded no contest to two misdemeanors, battery and criminal damage to property, in Brown County court on Thursday. The judge sentenced him to a $1,000 fine for the battery charge. The criminal damage to property charge will be dropped in a year if Jacobs avoids further trouble, avoids the victim, pays restitution to the victim, and completes counseling while also submitting to supervision.
Jacobs has been on the commissioner’s exempt list at the end of August, which means he cannot play or practice until the league removes him from the list.
The NFL has not said if Jacobs will be suspended or for how long.
