Justin Jefferson is moving the chains for the Minnesota Vikings even after starting quarterback Kyler Murray's exit from Sunday's game against the visiting Green Bay Packers with an injury.
In the second quarter, the former LSU Star wide receiver Jefferson found the end zone after a deep shot from Vikings backup quarterback Carson Wentz on a 1st-and-10. Matched up against Green Bay rookie defensive back Brandon Cisse, Jefferson gave Cisse a “welcome to the league” moment with a spectacular grab for his first touchdown (and first TD griddy) of the 2026 NFL season.

Fans are hyped after watching Jefferson's touchdown, with many declaring that he's finally back following a down 2025 season.
“It was funny to me the lack of respect Jefferson got last year because of bad QB play He’s the best WR in the NFL full stop,” a fan said.

Jefferson's touchdown bodes well for him and Minnesota after he only had a total of two touchdown receptions in 2025, albeit while extending his streak of 1,000-yard seasons with 1,048 receiving yards.
Moreover, Jefferson's touchdown looks good on Wentz, who takes over the quarterbacking duties amid Murray's injury. Murray was hit in the first quarter and left, opening the door for Wentz to see action under center at U.S. Bank Stadium.
