Game Recap: Packers blow double digit lead, lose to Vikings 39-22

A loss that was reminiscent to the playoff game in Chicago, the Green Bay Packers fell to the Minnesota Vikings 39-22 on Sunday. It is the Packers 6th straight loss dating back to the end of 2025.

The game flipped in the 4th quarter as the Packers led 22-17 and rookie kicker Trey Smack kicked a 40-yard field goal for a 25-17 lead. However, Matt LaFleur decided to take the points off the board and after a failed Jordan Love quarterback sneak, it would be all Vikings. The Vikings would score the game's next 22 points in the 4th quarter.

The Packers fall to 0-1, with a game in New York against the New York Jets next Sunday.
