Jermaine Pennant has vented some of his frustrations surrounding Liverpool, following the side's draw with Fulham at Anfield over the weekend.

Former Liverpool player Jermaine Pennant has posted a cryptic message surrounding the team, following a frustrating 0-0 draw with Fulham on Saturday.
The Reds came into the game with some momentum, having picked up a win over Ipswich Town in the Premier League to kickstart a potential run in the division, before a triumph at the first time of asking in the Champions League, defeating Atletico Madrid.
There was hope that, if a win over Fulham could be sealed, then Iraola's tenure would truly be underway, with the Merseyside outfit looking to improve on last season's tepid attempt across all competitions.
However, the match played out in a fashion that was all too familiar for the Liverpool faithful in the Anfield crowd. There was a mumble of discontent that followed the full-time whistle that told the tale of a fanbase that had sat through too many games that looked just as flat and uninspired.
A creaking defense, disjointed midfield, and an attack that just isn't firing all played a part in such an outing, though it was off the back of two impressive performances beforehand.
While it was another point on the board, of which Liverpool now has six with one win and three draws in the Premier League, it displayed the issues that are there for Iraola to now fix.
Former player Pennant certainly made his feelings known about the display, as he took to social media with a cryptic post aimed at the performance.
He said: "If I speak, I’ll be in trouble. Liverpool 0 - 0 Fulham………" certainly hinting that he wasn't best pleased with the result or the way the game played out.
It's a frustration that won't be unique to Pennant, with Liverpool fans certainly hoping that the team can kick on and show some more inspired performances moving forward.
"I think what was lacking was quite clear," Iraola admitted to the media in his post-match press conference. "I think it's the first game since I'm here that we've had problems creating chances to score goals, to make the difference offensively.
"That's the main reason that we couldn't create as many chances as we wanted. We haven't scored a goal, and that's why we go with just one point."

Fortunately for Iraola and Liverpool, there is an opportunity for an immediate response. The Reds play host to Tottenham in the EFL Cup in midweek, not only offering a chance to progress in the competition, but also time to get the performances back where they need to be.
Bournemouth then awaits in the Premier League, before an extended three-week international break, where some fine-tuning with the tactics and a real assessment of the start can be done.
