The transfer window may have closed, but the rumour mill doesn’t stop churning out stories – so we’re back with our latest morning round-up of some of the biggest new Premier League transfer rumours which you might have missed over the past 24 hours, starting with a story involving both Liverpool and Aston Villa.

According to TEAMtalk, the pair are both being “linked” with a move for 22-year-old Fiorentina star Cher Ndour, a powerful box-to-box midfielder who made his senior debut for Italy back in May.

Ndour, who spent time with both Benfica and PSG before moving to Fiorentina at the beginning of 2025, is said to be valued at €30-35m (up to £30m) by his current employers, with Juventus also allegedly interested in signing him in the near future.
Ndour is under contract until 2029 but it’s claimed that La Viola may struggle to keep hold of him – although there’s no suggestion that any formal steps have been taken towards a deal as yet, and no word on whether any of the youngster’s suitors will do so over the winter or not.
The 3AM Verdict: This is a pretty speculative article with little solid evidence behind it – really just a case of a talented player’s name being thrown around during a quiet period in the transfer cycle. That said, if Ndour enjoys another good season in Serie A, we expect that quite a few sides will be sending their scouts to take a closer look.

We’ll move on to a story for the Manchester United supporters reading now, which also comes courtesy of TEAMtalk – they allege that the Red Devils face a battle to sign Leicester City youngster Louis Page, described as the “new Jude Bellingham”, after Borussia Dortmund joined the chase.
Apparently both teams have sent scouts to watch the 18-year-old in action lately, not that they’re necessarily alone – a host of Premier League sides, including Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester City, are said to have sent representatives to take a look at Page as well.
Manchester United are said to believe that they are in a “strong position” to win the race that’s brewing to sign Page thanks to some groundwork which was laid over the summer, but the battle is said to be becoming “increasingly competitive.” There’s no word on when we can expect a resolution.
The 3AM Verdict: A few sources seem to agree that Dortmund have taken a look, while it’s been reported by a few different outlets that Manchester United have done a lot of work on Page – but it’s clearly far too early to know how everything will pan out. We expect Page to stay at Leicester for the rest of the season before moving next summer.

We’ll wrap up with a story from Caught Offside which suggests that Arsenal face a big decision over the future of winger Noni Madueke – with both Atlético Madrid and Juventus said to be “monitoring” the 24-year-old.
The pair are apparently “considering potential January moves” for the England international, with both hoping to take advantage of his struggles to secure regular first-team minutes at the Emirates.
It’s stated that no formal negotiations have taken place and their interest is apparently at a very putative stage. As such, there’s no word on the kind of transfer fee which Arsenal might demand, nor whether they would consider selling him mid-season.
The 3AM Verdict: There’s plenty of time for things to change, but we have a hard time imagining the Gunners being prepared to sell Madueke, who could become a very important player if the injury-prone Bukayo Saka misses any time, in the middle of the season. His future is more likely to come under the microscope in the summer if he continues to find himself on the bench.
