GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - The Denver Broncos open their season on Monday night, and local restaurants are preparing for fans to watch the game.
Jake Gulden, general manager of Pour Fellows, said Sundays require early preparation.
“Anytime there’s a Sunday rolling around, I get here like super bright and early. Make sure the restaurant’s set up and then get all the TVs rolling. It doesn’t have to be the Broncos, but it can be anything,” Gulden said.
Fans of multiple teams come to watch the full slate of games.
“A lot of Broncos fans, we got Bills fans, we got Cleveland Browns fans. Everyone comes in,” Gulden said.
Kiffanie Davidson, owner and general manager of Wrigley Field, said all fans are welcome at her restaurant.
“Every fan is welcome far and wide. If you’re a Dallas fan or a Kansas City fan, we’re probably going to give you a hard time, but everyone is welcome,” Davidson said.
Attention turns to the Broncos

When the Broncos play, Gulden and Davidson said the focus in their restaurants shifts.
“Anytime the Broncos are playing, sound’s on, we’re ready to go,” Gulden said.
“NFL, luckily, as long as the Broncos are good, we’re good and everyone’s happy on Sundays,” Davidson said.
A busy season ahead

Gulden said football season is one of several sports drawing customers to the restaurant.
“We love football. We got baseball playoffs coming up soon. We got hockey starting up, NBA starting up. So yeah, we really pride ourselves on that sports bar kind of attitude,” Gulden said.
Davidson said football is a high point of the year for her business.
“Football, whether it’s college, high school, NFL, it’s our best time of the year,” Davidson said.
