After what was a disappointing start to the regular season for the [New England Patriots](https://nesn.com/new-england-patriots), losing 13-10 to the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, who beat them in last year's Super Bowl, there's a lot of pressure on the organization to bounce back on Sunday afternoon in Week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers, who started the season 1-0 after a decent win against the Atlanta Falcons, aren't going to be an easy team to beat. However, with this game being in New England, there's really no excuse for the Patriots not to get the job done.
Heading into this game, there is already some frustration from the fan base, and rightfully so.
The Patriots won that first game against the Seahawks and then absolutely blew it. However, this fan base will always come out and cheer loudly, something head coach Mike Vrabel wanted to reiterate when speaking to reporters on Monday. He talked about what he wants his fan base to do, as he wants them to engage in a viral social media trend.
“We have to give them something to cheer about. I know that we will. It’ll be great. If the preseason game—if those were any indication—let’s get the tarps off and let’s have a good time. Hopefully we’ll give them something to cheer about,” Vrabel [said](https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/mike-vrabel-one-request-patriots-181711406.html), H/T Heavy.
“ Tarps off" means people in the stands will take their shirts off and get rowdy for the team. It's something that continues to go around on social media, and people absolutely love it.
It would be pretty funny to see Patriots fans do this on a Sunday, but it would be even better if they did it in mid-November at a home game when it's freezing cold up in New England.
