KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Breathe easy, Chiefs Kingdom. Football is back in Kansas City.

The Chiefs kick off their regular season against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium, with the return of superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and new additions like reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III among the hottest topics heading into Monday night.

UPDATE, 10:15 p.m. | The Chiefs used a 17-point second half to pull away from the Broncos and win 31-10 at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday Night Football.

UPDATE, 9:40 p.m. | The Chiefs go into their bag of tricks deep in the red zone and Kenneth Walker III caps it off with a 2-yard touchdown to put Kansas City up by three scores in the fourth quarter.

UPDATE, 9:20 p.m. | Broncos kicker Wil Lutz makes a 31-yard field goal to cut the Chiefs' lead to 11 in the third quarter.
