Liverpool’s injury list is down to just the four long-term absentees, with Joe Gomez likely to be available against Tottenham.
Andoni Iraola is expected to make several changes as Liverpool face Tottenham, with Giorgi Mamardashvili already confirmed to be replacing Alisson in goal.
Here are the injury updates ahead of Liverpool vs. Tottenham:
Joe Gomez (muscle) – Available, ‘thinks’ Iraola
Federico Chiesa (muscle) – Unavailable
Giovanni Leoni (ACL) – Unavailable
Conor Bradley (knee) – Unavailable
Hugo Ekitike (Achilles) – Unavailable
After getting injured just nine minutes into pre-season, Gomez is back in training and set to make his first appearance of the campaign.
Iraola said on Monday: “I think he’s going to be available for tomorrow and now it’s a matter of deciding how much he can play and what is the best thing to do.”
Liverpool’s head coach also offered an update on Conor Bradley‘s recovery, explaining: “He’s not close to training with the team.
“He’s training alone, but he started touching the ball. Definitely, I want him [back] as quick as possible already.”

He then added that Giovanni Leoni “is a little bit ahead of him, and still it’s going to take some time for Conor.”
Jayden Danns, who made the bench against Atletico Madrid, is not expected to figure due to his involvement in the under-21s’ game on Monday night.
The 20-year-old striker has been undergoing very careful management of his fitness, following last season’s multiple hamstring problems.
Fellow forward Hugo Ekitike remains a long way from being available, with Iraola explaining on Friday: “We had a meeting with all the medical departments when we completed the list for the European games.
“And there is a reasonable chance that he could help us in the last two games of the group stages.”
