Barcelona are keeping tabs on Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich contract talks, talkSPORT understands.
The England captain’s current deal expires in the summer of 2027, and Bayern are keen to tie him down for the long haul.

Kane has been one of world football's most prolific goalscorers since joining Bayern Munich and is a top contender for the 2026 Ballon d'Or
While the expectation remains that Kane opts to extend his stay in Bavaria, Barca are circling.
talkSPORT first reported Barcelona's interest in Kane in June, when the Spanish giants made initial contact with the striker's representatives over a stunning move to the Nou Camp.
The reigning LaLiga champions view Kane, 33, as an alternative option to their top target Julian Alvarez, along with Manchester City’s Erling Haaland.
Barcelona are seeking to replace Robert Lewandowski following the Polish icon's departure at the end of his contract and subsequent move to Major League Soccer side Chicago Fire this summer.
Manager Hansi Flick currently lacks a world-class out-and-out centre-forward in his squad, having largely relied on forward and captain Raphinha to lead the line so far this season.
Gabriel Jesus and Anthony Gordon are other options, with the England winger playing in that position for Newcastle last season, but the Spanish giants have always been keen to land a like-for-like Lewandowski replacement.
Everton star wanted for United makeover
Manchester United retain an interest in Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
United had two offers for centre-back Branthwaite rejected in the summer of 2024.

The 24-year-old’s career has been hampered by injury since then but United are keeping a keen eye on his form this season after an impressive start to the campaign.
The Red Devils are planning a major overhaul of their back-line next summer with Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez all out of contract.

Tight-fisted Foxes make players pay
Cash-strapped Leicester are charging their own players to stay in the hotel at their luxurious training ground.
Leicester opened the £100million Seagrave base in December 2020 with the idea of having hotel rooms to accommodate new signings and players who lived outside the area.
Midfielder Harry Winks was famously axed by previous manager Ruud van Nistelrooy for refusing to stay overnight and commuting 100 miles to training each day, following the birth of his daughter.
With the League One side laden with debt and up for sale, multiple sources have told talkSPORT Foxes stars are now expected to pay to stay at the hotel.
It is believed the club is charging their stars a nightly rate of around £80.

Southampton want rid of Spygate drama
Southampton are hoping for a decision on whether boss Tonda Eckert will be given a ban for his part in ‘Spygate’ during the upcoming international break.
Eckert faces FA sanctions after admitting authorising illegally observing training sessions at Middlesbrough, Ipswich and Oxford last season.
The German was charged with misconduct in July but a hearing as to what punishment he will get is still to be heard.
Saints owner Dragan Solak stood by Eckert in the wake of the scandal, which saw the south coast side kicked out of the Championship play-off final and deducted four points for the start of this season.
However, Solak has stated publicly that any lengthy suspension is likely to result in Eckert’s departure.
Southampton have started the season positively and currently sit eighth in the Championship, just four points off early leaders West Ham, despite their deduction.
