Oasis will tour again in 2027 and the brothers' love for Manchester City is no secret. But the duo – and specifically lead guitarist Noel Gallagher – sometimes really do have to roll with it when watching City in action.
Running from May through September, the Manchester band will once more embark on a stadium tour next summer. It includes UK stops in Glasgow, Manchester and Knebworth, alongside shows across mainland Europe, Ireland and North America.
The 2027 stadium run comes two years after the band officially ended their 15-year hiatus in 2025. Noel had infamously quit in August 2009 following a backstage fallout with Liam, but the brothers put their differences aside for their massive reunion.
Amid all the public bickering, one constant remained: their shared passion for boyhood club City. Their father first took Noel to Maine Road in 1971, Liam soon followed suit and both have remained fanatical supporters ever since.
But in 2022, as City celebrated winning the Premier League for the fourth time in five years, Noel admitted that things were perhaps taken too far as the father of defender Ruben Dias accidentally headbutted him and he required stitches.

In May 2022, City hosted Aston Villa on the final day of the top-flight season, needing a win to beat Liverpool to the title. The visitors took the lead just before half-time and doubled it through Philippe Coutinho in the 70th minute.
Just as it looked like the title could slip away in the unlikeliest of circumstances, the tide turned in double quick fashion. Ilkay Gundogan halved the deficit before Rodri equalised. Gundogan then netted an 81st-minute winner and City retained their crown.
On the Monday following the title win, Noel appeared on talkSPORT and recalled his experiences at the whirlwind of a game. An unfortunate clash with Dias' father led to him being treated by medical staff.
"So as the third goal goes in, right, there is absolute bedlam," he said. "As you can imagine, in the stadium where we sit. Ruben Dias' family are in the box, a couple of boxes up.
"So I'm jumping around like an idiot, passing my 11-year-old son around like the Premier League trophy, everyone is lifting him up and I turn around and Ruben Dias' dad runs straight into me, headbutting me. I'm on the floor, covered in blood. I don't see the last two minutes.

"I've got to get taken down by the St John's Ambulance and had to get stitched up. I've got stitches in my top lip and I've got two black eyes.
"As I'm going down the corridor, Pep's running up crying and we kind of hug each other and he says, 'What's up with your face?' And I was like, 'Go and be with your players, nothing to do with me.'
"I look like I've just arrived home from the eighties at Elland Road. I look like I've had my head smashed in. It's unbelievable. He [Dias' father] is a big bear of a man - he almost knocked my teeth out. But as days go at The Etihad, that's got to be up there with the best."
Noel and brother Liam will be rooting for their beloved City again this season. As part of their 2027 tour, they will play 11 shows at the Etihad Stadium between June 4 and June 26.
